Here’s a brief overview of some of the book ideas I’ve got and would eventually like to write. Some have had more thought put into them than others, and some are just harder to summarize into a few sentences than others. Some of the titles aren’t all that great either, and I actually came up with a couple of the titles while I was typing this. I’m sure I’ll be able to come up with something better during the process of actually writing them. I’ve got a couple other ideas too, but these are the ones I’ve spent the most time thinking about(not necessarily in order). Anyway, without further adieu, here they are:
The Eighth Dragon
There are seven dragons in the world that are believed to be the embodiment of the seven deadly sins. One man believes that by setting out on a mission to defeat these seven dragons, he will be able to rid the world of evil. Is this feat too great for one man? Is it even possible to defeat the dragons? What will happen if he fails?
The Mercenary
When a mercenary comes home from a job, he finds his uncle under attack. He is able to stop the attackers, but to prevent future attacks he must find the man responsible. To do this, he must infiltrate secret society of thieves and murderers. Then he will have to find some way to get close enough to their leader to get his revenge.
Journey to Road’s End
After losing everything, Leonidas is now a prisoner. His mysterious captor wants to hear Leonidas’ entire life story. Who is this strange man and why is he so interested in Leonidas’ past? Will this really be the end of Leonidas?
Polyphasic Sheep
Ten years ago, a movement started to switch over to a polyphasic sleep cycle. It didn’t take long before most of the world’s population began following like sheep. Workplace productivity began increasing. Technology and medicine began advancing even faster. Can things really be as good as they sound? Probably not.
EMPire
Terrorists set off two nukes miles above key points in the U.S. setting off massive EMPs and crippling nearly all computer systems on the continent. With few useable cars, no personal computers, no internet, and most factories shut down, society begins to collapse. The terrorists use the following chaos to set themselves up in places of power. Will it work, or will it backfire?
The Call to Intolerance
I’m sick of hearing people tell me Christians should be more tolerant of other lifestyles and religions. I’m tired of hearing people tell me that since my God is a loving God, He is also a tolerant God. I hate hearing people claim the name of Christ and in the next breath say that it’s okay to just do what feels good. He’ll forgive you on Sunday, right? We can’t give in to these lies that are rapidly spreading through the world. God is not a tolerant God, but a jealous God. He is a merciful and forgiving God yes, but only if you repent and turn away from your sins.
This is a wake up call. This is a call to action. This is the call to intolerance!
